After such a long and wet raining season, it seems now the
weather has turned to be much better and I believe everybody would agree with
me saying that the new climbing season has officially started again!
In order to celebrate the beginning of the new season we formally
donated the money gathered so far through the Chong Plee Fundraising Project to
Mike, a little treasure of 10,000THB, and I really hope we would be able to
deliver new donations in the next months.
A part from Mike whom was hanging around the crag drill in
hands and talking about new possible projects we also met Romano, a visionary
dude who opened the first pizzeria in Koh Yao Noi called La Luna just a few years
ago, and now is managing the bungalows right at the crag.
Romano is now working full time at the Chong Pli Climbing Camp& Bungalows and he told us that very soon he will be opening a restaurant
right at the crag!
That would be awesome! We could just climb, sleep and eat
in the same area, we couldn’t ask for more….oh actually yes…how about a swimming
pool?!?
